> We measure ourselves

We score ourselves too — even when it's zero.

We built a published Standard for measuring AI visibility. The first rule we hold ourselves to is this: measure your own brand by exactly the same method as everyone else, and publish the result — especially when it isn't flattering. Here is ours.

Measured 1–2 October 2026 · 4 AI assistants · 8 runs per question · to the GR8ER2 AI Visibility Standard.

The honest headline

When buyers ask AI for an agency, we are not yet named. We asked the major AI assistants the open questions a real buyer asks — “best AI visibility agency in South Africa”, and others like it — eight times each, logged out, with no personalisation. Across every one of those answers, GR8ER2 was named zero times.

Open-field Gr8 Score

0

Named in 0 of 544 open-question answers. When South Africans ask AI which agency to use, we don't yet come up. That's the truth, and it's our starting line.

Asked by name

19.8%

When someone asks an assistant directly “what is GR8ER2?”, it correctly identifies us about one time in five. There's a brand to build.

Only one assistant reliably knows we exist

The clearest picture of where we stand: when each AI assistant is asked about GR8ER2 by name, how often does it actually recognise us as a company? We hand-checked every one of those answers.

Two of the four don't recognise GR8ER2 at all — one even mistakes the name for an unrelated consumer product. That's not a reason to hide the number. It's exactly the gap we help our clients close, now measured in the open, on our own name.

Why we publish this

A measurement you can't check isn't a measurement, and the bravest number on our site is our own zero. Anyone can publish a glowing score. Far fewer will publish their own weak one, measured honestly, to a standard they've put in writing. We do, because it's the only way to earn the right to measure anyone else — and because next cycle, under identical conditions, we'll publish the movement. Progress you can verify beats a number you have to trust.

Provenance

GR8ER2 self-measurement · measured 1–2 October 2026. Four AI assistants, eight runs per question, logged-out and region-set to South Africa. Open-field score from 544 answers to shared buyer questions; brand-recognition rate hand-coded from 96 direct-question answers. Measured to the GR8ER2 AI Visibility Standard v1.1. Figures record what the AI assistants said about GR8ER2 on the dates stated — attributed to each engine, traceable to a logged answer, and reproducible under the same conditions. No figure has been rounded in our favour, and the one that matters most is a zero.
